ISRAEL IBELEME FOUNDATION @10YEARS: Photos from WASSA Internally displaced persons camp today. Its an IDP camp located in WASSA, off APO District-FCT. The camp consists of women, children and men affected by the insurgency in north east, Nigeria. WASSA is one of the largest IDP camp in Nigeria. Our initial plan was to cater for only 300 persons but we ended up with over 1000 persons. Inview of the the huge crowd, we had to repacked the relief materials so as to to make sure people have something to eat. It was unbelievable  when one of them told me that they have not had meal of rice for six months now.  As expected of huge hungry  crowd,  impatient led to problems of crowd control and the people scattered  some of the relief items we brought.
